A world class much awaited World Cup clash between India and Pakistan will be played on October 14 in Ahmedabad, as PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) has been agreed with ICC (International Cricket Council) and BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) to make changes in schedule of its two matches. Originally India vs Pakistan was scheduled to held on October 15 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India. Pakistan vs Sri Lanka will also likely to be moved to October 10 instead it was scheduled of 12th October at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, India. Date changes for India vs Pakistan was made due to security concerns on the first day of Navratri festival in Ahmedabad.
International Cricket Council (ICC), will soon announce a rescheduled fixtures of World Cup 2023 as including IND vs PAK few other matches of the other teams would also be changed. In the new schedule match venues will not be changed, only shift to be made on the match dates.
A total of ten teams will participate in World Cup 2023, all the 45 matches to be played across 10 venues from 5 October till 19 November 2023. Tournament opening and the final match will be hosting in the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
In case of Pakistan qualify for the semi-finals, they will play matches in Kolkata. Meanwhile, if India will qualify for the World Cup 2023 semi-finals, they will play in Mumbai. But in case of India playing against Pakistan in semi-finals then the venue will be in Kolkata.

All the day matches will start to be played at 10:30am Indian Standard Time (IST), while all day-night fixtures will be starting at 2:00pm (IST).
Earlier it was reported by Pakistani media that the PCB proposed a request for the venue relocation of World Cup 2023 matches, but their request was eventually rejected by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the International Cricket Council (ICC) members. Both the ICC and BCCI jointly terminated that there were no valid reasons found to made changes in the proposal of existing venue.
The specific matches of Pakistan were questioned by the PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) is scheduled to be held in Bengaluru against Australia and in Chennai with Afghanistan respectively. The committee, from Pakistan is expected to question the ICC and BCCI to permit a security team who will visit the World Cup venues where Pakistan will play their matches.
Pakistan’s Warning to India for PAK participation in the World Cup 2023
The Participation of PAK team in the World Cup 2023 still being to be decided at the highest levels in the Pakistan. According to sources said, a panel appointed by Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, will hold a meeting on Thursday to solve the matter related to Pakistan’s participation in the World Cup in India. The meeting members will also analyze the venue Ahmedabad for Pakistan vs India clash.
After that the high-powered meeting panel will send their suggestion to the PAK prime minister Shahbaz Sharif who will make the final decision on Pakistan’s participation in the ICC Men’s World Cup 2023 in India.
Earlier, the Pakistan’s Sports Minister Ehsaan Mazari have been released a message to India related to the participation in the Asia Cup 2023 to be held in Pakistan. Mazari stated that his personal opinion, if India will decide to not participate in the Asia Cup tournament held on Pakistani soil, then in reply Pakistan would respond by quitting from World Cup 2023 hosted in India.
